Hot air doesn't always rise

Hot air ballooning is the oldest successful mode of human flight but it's not without risk. From 1993 to 1997, the United States NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) recorded a total of 99 balloon accidents, 7 of which resulted in fatalities. In May 2009 A British man died and nine other British tourists were injured in a hot-air balloon crash during a trip in central Turkey.
