Actuarial apprenticeship at Willis Towers Watson

The company's latest opportunity is a Level 4 Actuarial Apprenticeship, based in its Reigate (Surrey) office. 

In this role you can show off your passion for client delivery in financial consulting services and make an immediate impact. 

You’ll learn what Willis Towers Watson does for its clients as you build strong working relationships and develop valuable skills from day one. 

You will also study towards a professional qualification as part of the apprenticeship. 

You’ll be working with the Consulting Support Team, part of the largest UK consulting team providing advice to many of the leading UK company pension schemes. 

Typical work will include:


  • Complex data manipulation
  • Calculating and valuing the benefits of individual members
  • Pension scheme valuations
  • Accounting disclosures
  • Monthly client billing
  • Cross-departmental projects

You will be part of a small, local apprentice team but you will also be included in a wider growing group of apprentices in other offices and disciplines. Your manager and mentor will be on hand at all times to fully guide you through your programme - making adjustments as necessary to ensure you achieve your full potential.

When you complete the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to join and progress within the Consulting Support Team. You will continue to grow and develop new skills supported by an extensive in-house training programme. 

You will also receive ongoing support enabling you to become a Certified Actuarial Analyst.

Qualifications

Three A level passes (or equivalent) worth 112 UCAS points (2017 tariff) including at least a B grade in A level Maths (or equivalent).
