See what Miller say about its programme below:

About Miller

Miller Insurance Services LLP is a specialist insurance broker – we use our expertise and relationships with insurers and markets to find the most suitable insurance cover tailored to meet our clients’ needs.

We work with a range of organisations, from international shipping companies and businesses operating oil rigs, to professional athletes and people needing kidnap and ransom cover.

Founded in 1902, Miller has a longstanding relationship with Lloyd’s of London, the leading international insurance marketplace where underwriters (insurers) and brokers meet to do business. Miller is the sixth largest premium provider to Lloyd’s.

Our partnership has more than 600 people working together across four international offices. Our headquarters are in the City of London.

Miller is a CII Corporate Chartered Broker – an industry gold standard that few other London Market brokers hold. It demonstrates our professionalism, client-focussed approach and commitment to excellent service standards.

We are committed to the professional development of our people, including supporting you to achieve your CII qualifications. We regularly recruit talented and ambitious candidates wanting to start their career with us.

The role

We offer graduates a full-time permanent role from day one in one as an Account Handler in one of our broking business units, with the opportunity to increase your knowledge in a particular area of insurance while receiving on and off the job training.

When you apply for the programme you apply for an Account Handler role, rather than a specific team, as placements are confirmed further along the recruitment process.

As an Account Handler, you will work closely with clients to assess their needs and service their accounts to include supporting the placement of risks in the market. The specific tasks will vary depending on which team you are placed with.

Development opportunities

You will benefit from a tailored development programme, with comprehensive training under the level 6 Senior Insurance Professional apprenticeship framework leading to the CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance and the industry’s leading apprenticeship qualification.

We will give you 20% of your time each week to dedicate to your development, which will include mentoring, coaching, training workshops and self-study.
