About Miller 

Miller Insurance Services LLP is a specialist insurance broker – we use our expertise and relationships with insurers and markets to find the most suitable insurance cover tailored to meet our clients’ needs.

The role

We offer graduates a full-time permanent role from day one in one as an Account Handler in one of our broking business units, with the opportunity to increase your knowledge in a particular area of insurance while receiving on and off the job training.

When you apply for the programme you apply for an Account Handler role, rather than a specific team, as placements are confirmed further along the recruitment process. 

As an Account Handler, you will work closely with clients to assess their needs and service their accounts to include supporting the placement of risks in the market. The specific tasks will vary depending on which team you are placed with. 
 

Development opportunities 

You will benefit from a tailored development programme, with comprehensive training under the level 6 Senior Insurance Professional apprenticeship framework leading to the CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance and the industry’s leading apprenticeship qualification. 

We will give you 20% of your time each week to dedicate to your development, which will include mentoring, coaching, training workshops and self-study.

Selection requirements 


2.1 degree (or predicted) 


UCAS score of 240 points at A-level (2016 tariff) or BTEC equivalent


GCSE Maths & English (minimum grade C)


The right to work in the UK
(Applications will not be accepted if you require sponsorship for a UK Work Permit/Visa)


Able to start in September 2018
