The social value of insurance in action

The social value of insurance in action If you have explored the Discover Risk site, you will know that our profession has a wide range of roles available to you, from many companies. Here are some of the key ones.

At the heart of insurance and risk management is the client. We as a profession are there to help put things right when they go wrong, whether the client is a global corporation, a local small business or a customer.

In the first of an occasional series from Ecclesiastical, a specialist insurer, we look at real examples of where their Claims teams have helped their clients recover from adversity.

This piece looks at how Ecclesiastical worked with the Caring & Sharing Trust, a charity for people with learning disabilities, following flood damage to its premises.

It's one of many good news stories of which our profession can be proud. Watch this space for more examples.

If you are a UK school, college or university student and you want to take your first steps towards working in Claims, sign up for our free Discover membership scheme. Here, you can join a network of Claims specialists, attend events and build your knowledge through online resources.
