Lloyd's of London: new talent accreditations

Lloyd's of London: new talent accreditations Lloyd's of London sits at the very heart of global insurance.

It is the world’s specialist  insurance market where members join together to insure risks - think guitar players' fingers, coffee tasters' tongues, and 007's wellbeing. It also insures a mind blowing range of other risks from earthquakes and floods to cyber attacks, drones and supertankers.

Closer to home, but no less important, comes the news that the CII, the world's largest professional body for insurance and financial services, has accredited a number of Lloyd's programmes. In fact, the Lloyd’s Apprenticeship, Graduate and Claims Practitioner Programmes have all been officially accredited by the CII.

It means that those who have achieved a CII qualification can now use any training on the Lloyd's programmes towards their 36 hours of continued professional development (CPD) required by the CII to remain a member each year.

This is fantastic news, not least because the Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes are the first emerging talent programmes in the insurance profession to receive CII accreditation.

It is also another way that Lloyd's of London takes the lead in the insurance profession.

We'll have details of these schemes on the site once they're open for applications. Discover members will receive this update in their inbox as soon as we have it.
