NFU Mutual seeks grads for Telesales roles

NFU Mutual seeks grads for Telesales roles NFU Mutual is one of the UK’s leading general insurance and financial services companies. It's one of the few companies that offers new entrant opportunities in both areas.

As well as having a graduate cheme that is open for applications, this role will see you work as part of the company's Sales Division, as a Customer Telephone Introducer.

In this phone-based sales role, you’ll be successfully delivering stretching sales targets, generating and developing leads and monitoring the latest marketplace activity to enhance your work. You’ll have the chance to work closely with the Financial Advisors and build great working relationships with a variety of people, both inside of and outside of the business.

You’ll quickly build strong market knowledge, work to the highest compliance standards and really impact the success of this critical area of the business.

You'll have to respond to inbound calls and process proposals for non-advised products, maintaining productivity levels and quality standards. The role will give you the chance to cover a broad range of activities, including:

  • Implementing initiatives for the generation of leads from inbound and outbound phone conversations, to meet lead production and quality targets
  • Using your judgement and initiative to identify all of the leads that potentially need advice and pass promptly to a Financial Adviser
  • Creating records of all transactions, having a keen eye to ensure that they meet NFU Mutual and compliance standards
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with other Direct teams, Financial Advisers, Agents and third parties to improve the quality of leads generated and lead to the development of the non-advised channel
  • Delivering short-term/one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with your Line Manager
  • Holding responsibility for uncompromising quality on the administration of any non-advised sale from beginning to end of the sales process, managing customer contact throughout.

What kind of person is NFU Mutual looking for?

Having proven success in a target-driven, sales environment, you’ll have great energy and unquenchable enthusiasm for the work you do, underpinned by outstanding customer focus. Supported by full training, and the opportunity to become formally qualified, this role will be one of the very best foundations for you to build a career in sales and Financial Services.

If you have Financial Services qualifications, that is helpful, but not a prerequisite. You don’t have to come from a Financial Services background; if we’ve described you so far and you have experienced face-to-face or telephone-based sales, this could be your perfect opportunity.
