Chaucer Claims Apprenticeship in the City

Chaucer Claims Apprenticeship in the City Chaucer was the first company in the London insurance market to offer structured apprenticeships. It realised before most that there is more than one route to success.

It's at it again, with its Claims Programme open for applications. Good timing if you've just finished your exams.

The programme is a great way to learn about insurance and risk while working in the City of London. You also get a CII professional qualification within the 18-month apprenticeship.

If you have (or expect to get) 3 A levels or equivalent at A*-C preferably in Law, Geography or another analytical discipline, please apply. You should also hold GCSEs in English and Maths at grade B or above. If you have Spanish language skills, that would be an advantage.

If you're a good communicator with attention to detail take look at the role description here

To apply, send your CV and a covering letter which explains the following in no more than 500 words:

  • Why an apprenticeship rather than university?
  • Why insurance?
  • Why a Claims team rather than another part of the sector?

Email your application to

Please title your message '2017 Claims Apprentice Programme' and include details of how you heard about this opportunity.

The deadline for applications is Friday 7 July 2017.
