Geography graduate? Cat Analyst role at Markel

Geography graduate? Cat Analyst role at Markel Over recent years, more Geography graduates have taken an interest in working in the risk and insurance sector. Understanding the impacts and consequences of catastrophic events helps insurers to cover risks more effectively and look ahead with more confidence.

Markel has an exciting new Catastrophe Analyst role, based in its cool London offices. The role will focus on the Energy sector and the postholder will model exposures using tools like RMS. Don't worry if you've used other modelling tools - training will be given.

This is such an exciting and important area of our sector that we're excited about giving you this opportunity!

So, you'll almost certainly have a Geography/Geography-related degree, good Excel skills and you'll enjoy working with stats.
