Another Walkie-Talkie role at Markel - hurry!

Markel International is a US company that has its UK headquarters in 20 Fenchurch Street, also known as the Walkie Talkie building. With stunning views of London, it's also a great place to work thanks to the people who work there. 

Markel has a new opportunity for you to join the business, this time as an Underwriting Assistant. The post is based in the Underwriting Support team, so it's a great way to learn from those in this area.

To understand more about what an Underwriter does, click here. It's a good role if you want to be client-facing (meeting lots of people!). 

Key parts of this role include:

  • Data entry using in-house systems
  • Developing insurance knowledge 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the Underwriting team
  • Attending meetings as and when required

You do not need a degree to apply for this role. It's more important to have great attention to detail; be IT literate; and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
