Ageas (formerly Fortis) recently took part in the Solent EBP Skills Festival at the Southampton City Cruise Terminal. The event saw approximately 1,600 students, aged 14-17, attend from across Southampton in order to meet local employers and colleges.

The event gave this year's Ageas UK graduates an opportunity to introduce insurance to young students considering their future career options. The students showed a great level of interest and engagement, from asking their own questions about Insurance to taking part in the prepared activities.

Our Insurance Wheel of Fortune and picture quiz gave students a chance to learn about Ageas, the insurance market and different career paths in insurance, whilst winning prizes for their involvement. The activities sparked some great competition and discussion amongst the students.

Meanwhile, the hula hoop competition drew in the crowds with some healthy inter-school rivalry on the hula hoop leader board. By the end of the day, students still keen on beating the records were reluctantly being torn away from the stand by teachers keen to get them back on the bus home.
