This week is National Apprenticeship Week

Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and workplace experience, making them a good alternative to university. With an Apprenticeship you can learn on the job, develop skills and knowlege, gain a qualification, and earn money all at the same time!

There are serveral Apprenticeship providers accross the country, some of which you can find here. The Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching Service will help you search and apply for an Apprenticeship vacancy, and you can find out more about Apprenticeship frameworks on the CII website.

In fact, the CII held an Apprenticeship breakfast briefing on 3 February for employers.  The Mayor of London is firmly behind Apprenticeship development in the capital to match the uptake elsewhere in the country, so there has never been a better time for employers and students to think about Apprenticeships.
