Has your school or college had a Discover Risk session yet?

Now that the round of university events have just about finished, we are focusing our attention on our Discover Risk board game and attending careers fairs around the country.
We have travelled all over the country to play our game with Year 12 and Year 13 students, ably assisted by local and national employers.

At a recent event in Folkestone, Ray Johnson, the owner of Independent Insurance Services, managed a stand and said

"It was good to meet so many enthusiastic kids from local schools and they particularly enjoyed the leaflets and our free pens and pencils. "

At other Discover Risk game sessions, we have had a lot of fun and received some great feedback from students, staff and employers.

"It is a really good way of showing students that our sector can be a rewarding one to work in."

"Thanks for such an interesting and relevant Discover Risk session. The students really enjoyed it. It was really good, since it fitted so well into the courses they are currently studying. Thanks for your time and the excellent presentation. I look forward to the next one!"

"This is just the type of event that we should do more of to spread the word about the sector, particularly to those who are considering career paths."

"The response I've had from students has been overwhelmingly positive.  They all really enjoyed the event and have a much improved understanding of risk and the opportunities out there for them.  I've had a number of students say to me that they had never considered risk as a career but are now giving it serious thought. I would absolutely recommend this to any other school/college."
