Supporting Comic Relief 2011 - The Follow Up

It's been a few weeks since we told you about sector companies' Comic Relief activity. Here's an update on how some of them got on doing something funny for money on Red Nose Day:

Ageas Insurance Solutions enjoyed a range of different sponsored events:

. Head shave and leg wax
. 'Wet sponge gunge' in the car park
. An office bake off
. Their Post Room got into the spirit through a sponsored bike ride
. Many 'fastest challenge' events took place including who could eat the most doughnuts, wrap the most presents and blow up the most balloons!

Atkinson Smith like an excuse to organise an event and this year's Red Nose Day was no different. Their staff got stuck in with:

. A 1980's fancy dress theme; staff dusted down their leg warmers and shoulder pads for full effect
. Baked treats for sale for staff and customers alike.

These efforts, along with those of Independent Insurance Services, Cunningham Lindsey, RGA, Eldon, Bartlett, and Chaucer, raised an impressive grand total of £3874.00.
