Survey reveals risk as the proudest profession

Survey reveals risk as the proudest profession A study released by recruiter Randstad Financial & Professional has revealed that insurance and risk staff are the ‘proudest workers’.

The survey of over 2,000 British workers showed ninety percent of insurance employees feel proud of their profession, well above the average of 52 percent, and compared with only 44 percent of accountants and just 32 percent of rail workers.

The research also revealed that workers who were proud of their industry were more committed and spent more time at work.

You can access the research here but for examples of just how much risk employees like what they do, take a look at some case studies.

Michael Davies, Marketing Executive for top insurer AXA explains that his work/life balance is far better than his friends who work in other industries such as media or law whilst Jason O’Sullivan, Account Executive for Loss Adjuster Crawford & Company reveals just how much he thrives off the challenges the profession brings.  To access Michael and Jason’s case studies along with lots more click here.

The good news doesn’t end there either.  How about working in the UK’s proudest profession? Check out the news and jobs page for details of current vacancies and placements.
